Somark awarded Advanced Manufacturing Grant

Somark awarded a Federal A$2.5M grant for Advanced Manufacturing which will allow Somark to expand its Advanced Manufacturing and Development Centre in Adelaide, South Australia.

Somark are delighted to have been awarded the Advanced Manufacturing Grant by AusIndustries on behalf of the Federal Australian Government. Designed to boost innovation, the grant will be used to further develop Somark’s Advanced Manufacturing and Development Centre at the Tonsley Innovation District in Adelaide, South Australia. The new manufacturing operation  will produce the majority of the hardware components of the revolutionary Somark SensaLab™ Ecosystem. By harnessing the Digitail Tag™, the world’s smallest and most cost effective RFID tag used in pre-clinical research. It will be closely aligned to the already established Development and Software team. The SensaLab Ecosystem promises to transition the pre-clinical sector into the digital age. This transition to a digital process will ensure that data collected for pre-clinical research is more accurate, the collection process is more efficient, animal welfare is improved and pre-clinical research will generate better scientific outcomes. With the translation of these outcomes leading to new treatments for disease the solution promises to transform global health.

Somark would like to thank AusIndustries and the Federal Australian Government. The Advanced Manufacturing Grant ensures that Somark has a clear path to produce and supply this game changing technology to the global pre-clinical market.
